The Results Are In!
In December, the first ever business proposal pitch day was held at the Learning & Leadership Center in Kafue, Zambia where 16 of the high school graduates that attended the Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy Program High School Graduate Pilot Workshop last summer pitched their businesses ideas to a panel of judges from the Entrepreneurship and M&E Departments. The 16 students had been working hard during the entire process, beginning with research on their business ideas as they prepared for pitch day.
The Fourth Cohort: More Women Graduate from the Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy Program
The fourth cohort of the Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy Program Adult Training graduated this month. In this cohort, 26 women, most of them mothers of the children and youth who attend the Amos Youth Centre, passed the course and received their certificate of completion.

Shalortte is one of the many youths at the Amos Youth Centre (AYC) with so many dreams she is trying to achieve. After being in AYC’s Scholarship Program since 2017, she nurtured the desire to go to a trade school to study agriculture.

Just like many youth in Zambia, Peter is an ambitious young leader. At only 19 years of age, Peter is on his way to becoming a better leader thanks to a scholarship opportunity to attend the African Leadership Academy in South Africa.
