Community-led. Youth driven.
The Amos Youth Centre empowers children, youth and women to uplift themselves and their families, ultimately becoming the leaders that our communities deserve.
In 2026, the Amos Youth Centre will reach over 5,000 children, youth and women:
Over 1,200 children, youth and women who attend programs at our Learning & Leadership Centre.
4,000+ youth through our Peer-to-Peer Education Program in local schools.
41 differently-abled children and youth through our Read for Rose Special Education Program.
How we do it.
The Amos Youth Centre (AYC) is a Learning & Leadership Centre in Kafue, Zambia. We serve children, youth and women through a holistic model focused on leadership skills development, community service, and volunteerism combined with quality and inclusive learning, health and well-being, entrepreneurship and financial literacy, the arts, and more.
The goal is for children and youth to access all the knowledge, skills, resources, and opportunities they need to dream big, reach their full potential and become a changemaker that their community deserves. In addition, the mothers and guardians of the children and youth, as well as other women in the community, access a custom-designed Women's Business Training to increase income for their households.
