Read for Rose Special Education Program Extends Inclusive Learning to Parents
The Read for Rose Special Education Program has continued to expand its holistic approach in its programs and activities with the children and the families that it serves. Febby Choombe, Director of Special Education, recently started a brand new program that will open the communication barrier that exists in the homes of families with children who are living with a speech and hearing impairment.
Four Stories of Impact
The Scholarship Program creates opportunity for our Mwalii Leaders (girls and boys and young women and men) to access all of the after-school programs, including quality academic tutoring and leadership development, offered at the African Education Program’s (AEP’s) flagship Learning & Leadership Center in Kafue, Zambia.
The Ultimate Surprise
After a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AEP’s Board Member, Marie Odile Savarit, returned to Kafue to once again work with the beloved children and staff at AEP’s Learning & Leadership Center, the Amos Youth Centre (AYC). Read along as the youth and AYC team celebrated Momma Mario for her dedication to the success of the program.
