Read for Rose opened its doors on March 21st, 2019 to address the needs of children in the community with special needs. As we look back on the past year, we celebrate the many achievements and accomplishments, even during a pandemic.

Miriam has come a long way since her childhood days in the rural village of Chanyanya. She never gave up on her dreams and AEP never gave up on her. Today, she shares her advice for the next generation of girls in her community.

Engaging with our girls and boys through sponsorship can be very rewarding, but a trip to Africa is oftentimes a life-changing experience. When longtime friend and supporter of AEP, Karen DelRaso, asked if we would like to collaborate with her on a photography project, we were all in!
